Q: Do I have to be an “elite” athlete to train with you?
A: Not at all; We can help you achieve your fitness goals no matter who you are! Athletes possess some of the most impressive physiques in the world.  That’s because of the high level of training and nutritional guidance that they receive.  At EATS our specialty is training athletes, but that doesn’t mean that you have to be one to train with us.  We train hundreds of general fitness clients too!  Where we differ from personal training companies is in the training.  We train our fitness clients using the same techniques and philosophy’s we incorporate into training our athletes.  These scientifically backed techniques will help to bring out the inner athlete in you and the only side effect is a more athletic and fit body!!  If you are a former high school or college athlete trying to get back in shape for recreational sports or just a fitness client looking to reap the benefits of athletic performance training and drop a few pant or dress sizes we can help you get to where you want to be![Return to top]

Q: Why is E.A.T.S. different than any other trainer or training company?
A: Unlike most of our competors, our staff  are Professional Strength and Conditioning Coaches with 4 year degrees in the Sports Medicine/Exercise Science field, upper level cirtifications and years of experience working with athletes.  We take pride in delivering the best workouts in the industry while at the same time giving you an outstanding level of customer service; all of which is accomplished at a very competitive cost. Thousands of satisfied clients can’t be wrong!

Q: How do I pick my coach?
A: For the most part, our executive staff will assign you a coachthat we feel is most conducive to your success. This is determined by your answers to some basic preliminary questions as well as the expertise and specialties of each of our staff members. However, you are more than welcome to review our comprehensive Staff page to check the credentials of our coaches. In doing so you may find a member of our staff that you would prefer to work with. We have spent years developing a true training system which all of our coaches adhere to. This ensures that all of our staff is capable of helping each and every client maximize their results - so it doesn’t matter who you are training with as long as it is with and E.A.T.S. Performance Coach!

Q: When can I train?
A: Training for individual sessions is done by appointment only and depends on trainer availability. Every effort is made to train at a time and location that is convenient to you! Our group training programs are held at specific times and locations. Please see each schedule for further details.

Q: What age is it safe for my child to start strength training?
A: This is a difficult question to answer generically as it really depends on the physiological (and sometimes psychological) maturity of the child. For the most part, most children are ready to participate in a supervised strength training program when they are 13 or 14 years old. For a specific evaluation and consultation on your child, please call our main office at 240.498.9647.

Q: How long do I have to train to see results?
A: This is another difficult question to answer. How quickly you see results  varies from person to person and depends on factors such as sex, age, current fitness level, training frequency, training intensity, overall activity level, and nutritional habits. However, most of our clients begin to see and feel a “difference” in 3-4 weeks.
